Nachan Jan Kalyan Foundation, under the leadership of its Founder & Chairman, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, organized a Free Eye & General Health Check-up Camp at Government Senior Secondary School, Mahadev, for the benefit of people from Mahadev Zone and its 18 Gram Panchayats.
The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Apoorv Devgan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mandi, who graced the occasion with his presence and appreciated the Foundation’s efforts towards providing healthcare services to people in rural and economically weaker communities.
The camp provided free medical services to the local community, including specialist eye examinations, general health check-ups, medical consultation, and free medicines. More than 1,000 people benefited from the camp and received essential healthcare services.
During the medical examination, patients requiring further treatment were identified. 28 needy patients were referred and sent for free surgical treatment, including patients requiring eye surgery. The Foundation is committed to ensuring that eligible patients receive the necessary treatment without financial burden.
The programme was successfully conducted with the valuable support and cooperation of medical professionals, volunteers, supporting organizations, local representatives, and community members.
